Amount of 👉 با اسم‌های غیرقابل شمارش (uncountable nouns) استفاده میشه.
Number of 👉 با اسم‌های قابل شمارش (countable nouns) به کار میره.

🔄 ساختارهای مشابه
Quantity of 👉 هم برای countable و هم برای uncountable استفاده میشه، معمولاً در متن‌های رسمی‌تر.
Example: The quantity of food wasted each year is alarming.Volume of 👉 بیشتر برای uncountable یا وقتی چیزی رو مثل مایع تصور کنیم.
Example: The volume of traffic during rush hours is overwhelming.Proportion of / Percentage of 👉 وقتی از داده‌های آماری صحبت میکنیم.
Example: The proportion of elderly people in the population is gradually rising.Range of 👉 وقتی از گستره یا تنوع چیزی می‌گیم.

💡 نکته آیلتسی
تو Task 1 باید خیلی دقت کنی چون اگه “amount” رو برای اسامی قابل شمارش مثل cars, people, houses بیاری، اشتباه دستوری میشه و نمره Grammar رو میاره پایین. همونطور اگه برای uncountable مثل money, information, pollution از “number” استفاده کنی، غلط حساب میشه.
